How the price is built
Nothing ruins a move faster than a van that turns up too small for the load. It happens when a price is guessed from a property type instead of built from a list — every item you add tells us the vehicle it needs and whether it takes one person or two.
A sofa is small enough to “fit” a small van on paper. It will not go through the doors. That's the difference between a calculator that measures volume and one that knows what the job actually is.
See it on your own listMost people moving out of a rented flat need both. We do both, so the clean happens after the van leaves rather than a week later when you've already lost the deposit argument. Cleaning is priced on its own — you don't need a move to book one.

A full three-bedroom move across the borough. Everything you can see in the photograph was listed before the day, which is how the vehicle and the crew were decided rather than guessed.

Two-bedroom flat · beds dismantled, estate lift booked
A two-bed flat between estates. Beds and wardrobes came apart and went back together at the other end — dismantling was on the quote before the crew arrived, not added to the bill afterwards.

A four-bedroom flat on the third floor, out to Bexleyheath. The lift was too small for some of the furniture, so those pieces came apart and went back together at the other end — dismantling that was on the quote before the day, not added to the bill afterwards.

A four-bedroom house in Bromley, loaded across two Lutons with the tail lifts down, for the run south into Surrey.

An office move across the City. Desk frames came apart on the floor they stood on, task chairs were blanketed and strapped in the van, and both Lutons worked out of the building's loading bay rather than the street.
We are based in Woolwich and most of our work is within a few miles of it. Every area page shows the real distance from our base and a worked price for that route.
