What is included

  • The van and the crew your list actually needs
  • Fuel and local mileage
  • Blankets, straps and trolleys
  • £50,000 goods-in-transit cover
  • A named coordinator from booking to the last box
  • Taking apart and rebuilding, when you ask for it

A price built from your inventory, not a flat guess

Your price is built from your move: the property, the postcodes, the volume coming with you, stairs where there is no lift, the crew and vans it needs, and anything you want dismantled. Each of those shows as its own line, so you can see where the number comes from before you commit. Where something needs a human eye — a piano, an unusual access problem — we say so and a coordinator confirms it rather than guessing.

Extras, if you need them

Dismantling and reassembly at £25 an item, an extra mover for a long carry at £50 an hour, waiting time at £45 an hour if you are in a chain, and specialist handling for pianos and safes. You choose them, you see what each one costs before you commit, and each appears as its own line on your quote. Nothing is added on the day that you have not already agreed.

Built from your move, not from a list

Two minutes, no email needed to see it.

  1. Your propertyWhat you are moving out of, and into.
  2. Your postcodesWe take the distance and any road charges from the route.
  3. What is comingYour item list sets the van size and the crew.
  4. AccessStairs without a lift take real time, so they are priced, not sprung on you.
  5. Crew and vansWorked out from the volume — you never pay for space you are not using.
  6. Anything extraDismantling, waiting, specialist items. Only if you choose them.

You will know the whole price before you pay any of it

The number you see is the number you pay, as long as what arrives on the day is what you told us about. That is the whole deal.

Priced on your moveNot a flat rate and not a guess. Your property, your route, your items and your access each move the figure, and you can see which did what.
Every line shownCrew and vehicle, distance, stairs, dismantling, anything specialist — itemised before you commit to anything.
Road charges at costIf your route crosses a congestion zone or a crossing, you pay what we pay. We add nothing to them.
Fixed once confirmedTell us accurately what is coming and where it is going, and the price holds. If something changes, we tell you what it costs before we do it.
Fixed on your datePrices vary by date before you are quoted — month end and weekends are busier. Once you have a price for your date, it does not move.
Never a guessIf we cannot price something responsibly online — a piano, an unusual access problem — we say so and a coordinator confirms it.

Questions people actually ask

How much does a house move cost?
It depends on the volume, the distance and the access — which is why we ask for your list rather than guessing. Price yours with the calculator above and you will see the full breakdown before you pay anything.
Will the price change on the day?
No. The price is fixed for the date you chose and for the list you gave us. If the list changes — more items, a floor you did not mention, a lift that is out — we agree the change with you before the crew moves anything. Nothing is added afterwards.
How many movers will you send?
As many as your list needs. Anything flagged as a two-person lift — a sofa, a fridge-freezer, a double bed — puts two people on the job. A load of boxes and no furniture can go with a driver on his own, and it is priced that way.
Do you take things apart?
Yes — beds, wardrobes, big flat-pack. It is £25 an item each way and it shows on your quote as its own line. The calculator pre-fills it from your list and you can change it.
What if I need to move my date?
Tell your coordinator as early as you can. Prices do vary by date, so a new date may re-quote — but we tell you before anything changes, and we would rather move your booking than lose it.
Are you insured?
£50,000 goods in transit, on every job, as standard — a published figure, not a description. It is a fair question to ask anyone you are comparing us with.
